I will help Rhinebeck navigate the challenges we face as we con￾tinue to grow. With our new sports field open and the construction of a skate park and pickle ball courts beginning this spring, our Park has become the vibrant asset we’ve all envisioned. We have big decisions to make with the Town’s Workforce Housing Project,

Short-Term Rentals, Community Solar, and adding environmental goals to our Comprehensive Plan. I will make sure every voice is considered as we make these decisions.

During my eight years on the Rhinebeck Town Board, I’ve used my engineering and management skills to oversee the installation and use of the computer system we share with the Village, manage the capital improvements to the Park, and grow our recreation and pool programs and summer camp. As liaison to the Planning Board, I will work to devise new land-use policies that focus on sustainability and environmental best practices to protect Rhinebeck’s charm and historical character.

I’m new to the team: an engaged resident of Rhinecliff, a fine art photographer, local business owner, and dad to a Bulkeley student. I will continue to support resources for our kids and ensure walkability and accessibility in Rhinecliff and throughout the Town’s rural neighborhoods. Because we are facing unprecedented growth, we need to enact policies that preserve the character of our local roads, and protect what is best about Rhinebeck. I will be that voice.

Having worked for the Town of Rhinebeck for over 23 years, I love being your Highway Superintendent. The environment is as important to me as the quality and safety of our Town roads. I am proud to be a State leader in the early adoption of road brining, which keeps tons of salt off the roads and out of our water sources. We recently switched to “live edge” plow blades which remove more snow in each pass while using less fuel. My crew and I are always open to trying new ideas.
